one flew over the cuckoo's nest 4
McMurphy choked Nurse Ratched so much that she couldn't talk anymore and needed to get surgery. Being that she couldn't talk she lost all power over the guys because her voice was her main power. Nurse Ratched sent McMurphy up to get a libotomy and it turned him into a vegetable. Then Chief Bromden smothers him at night and he dies. After that Bromden escapes and goes back with his cronies.
one flew over the cuckoo's nest 3
In the 3rd part of the cuckoo's nest, they went on a fishing trip and drank beer and brought a whore with them. Her name was Candy Starr. She was beautiful and they were all hypnotized by her good looks. Also, Nurse Ratched tried to get McMurphy in trouble for taking more money than he needed from the guys and lying about it. While at the gas stations, the workers talk down to the guys because they think their crazy until McMurphy stands up for them.

One Flew Over The Cookoo's Nest Part 2
After the Nurse's outbreak, all of the patients seem to get a different impretion of her. Being that they never seen her act like that before. Another thing about her outbreak is that it was very unprofessional especially for the patients to see her act that way. Since McMurphy made a bet that he could push her over the edge i think that all of the other patients are thinking that they can act a fool now too.
One Flew Over Cookoo's Nest Part 1
McMurphy seems to be higher than all of the other characters in the book, and i really dont seem to get to why he is. After reading the reading the book i tried to start making accusations on to why he is higher and one thing i thought of is because he is very intimidating. Another thing is probably because of his tattoos and scars show that he is very hardcore. And the scars show he might not be the one to mess with.

Hamlet Act II
In Act II, when Hamlet is trying to kill Claudius I dont understand why Claudius doesnt realize that Hamlet is behind him. For some time I thought it was because he was praying but I am not sure. Even though Claudius basically took Hamlet's fathers place in Gertrudes life doesnt mean that Hamlet has to hate him so much because at the end of the day it is still Hamlet's uncle and i think that he should be respected as that. Also, I feel that Gertrude doesnt even care about how Hamlet feels about the two of them. Not that Hamlet should have any say because it isnt his life but i do think that the right thing to do is to take his feelings into consideration. After all, when Hamlet's father died Hamlet has a very big void in his life now.

Vision, Perception, and Belief in Act 1
One thing i dont understand is why the King and Queen want Guildenstern and Rosencrantz to "heal" Hamlet if all it is is that he is in love. Just because he is acting differently doesnt mean he is nessicarily crazy. Hamlet is just crazy for Ophelya's love. Love can make people do crazy things especially when the one that you love does not love you back. It Also hurts because you put so much effort into love. So basically i dont think Hamlet is as crazy as everyone thinks hes just having a minor gliche with his love life.

Coleridge and Shelley Imagination and Narrative Voice
I really do not understand the "kubla kahn" story I read it 3 times but still cannot get a good understanding of it.
In Ozymandias, I hear only one voice. It seems to me that the land has been destroyed and that there is nothing left. There is a vast amount of land and is unoccupied.

Poetry and Social Change
I agree with the writer's of the textbook that Blake's poetry could enact social change by appealing to the imagination of the reader. I agree with them because when a person imagines thing it takes their mind to a whole different world, most of the time how they wish something was. So, in this case they could imagine how they would want the world to change socially. The Parliament transcript affected my reading of Blake's work by giving me another way to look at his poetry, to see past the imaginary world and to see how the world really could be.

Gulliver's Travel
Questions I would ask in my teacher group is how would you act in this situation, would you be rebellious or go with the flow and would you feel threatened by the Lilliputians being that there was so many of them.
I feel that me and my group members (Robert N. and Alisha) work very well together. We would try to critique each others questions to make them more to be asked to a student. Also, the teacher groups are helpful to understand the story and what everyone thinks about it, you get to look at it in another point of view. Which also gives you a better understanding because maybe they thought something that you didn't. So all in all my teacher group meeting went well.
My group hasnt came up with a way to teach but we will work on that on monday we've only came up with questions to ask so far.

Orwell post
The poem that Orwell wrote says that he might not come home. At the time of when he wrote that i think that was going through his head. I read the poem before i actually read "why i write" so i didn't know much about the background of the poem except for some of the images he left me with while reading the poem. I also felt that he didn't want to dream because he knew them dreams could not come true. His poem seems poem and book seems to me that he has a lot of political beliefs and expresses them in different ways than most.
